General Aftercare
It is normal for the treated areas to appear darker, larger, and more saturated up to 7 days following your session. Do not pick at or aggressively rub your permanent makeup. Doing so can result in less than desirable results such as loss of pigment, scar tissue, or infection. Avoid tanning of any kind, swimming, saunas, sweating, or exfoliating for 7 days following your service. This is essentially considered an open wound for the first week. Please follow and take seriously the aftercare instructions to ensure proper healing and lessen the risk of infection. Please do not use anything on your permanent makeup that was not provided or approved by your technician during the healing process.
Please note: These services are considered tattoos so although numbing is applied throughout each service, discomfort/tenderness, redness, swelling, and sensitivity is a normal part of healing.
Powder Brows Aftercare
What to Expect:
- For up to 10 days after your session, the treated area will appear darker, more defined, and slightly larger than the final healed result.
- Over the healing period, your brows will lose 50% of their color and will soften by approximately 50%, resulting in a much more natural and less structured appearance. This is completely normal. If you choose to go darker/ stronger this can be done on your 6 weeks top up.
Aftercare Instructions:
- Do Not Touch or Pick: Avoid picking, rubbing, or scratching the brows, as this can disrupt healing and cause uneven pigment retention.
- Avoid Sun Exposure: Keep the face away from sunlight or tanning beds for at least two weeks after your treatment.
- Keep Them Dry: Do not get your brows wet for the first 10 days. Use the provided shower shield to protect your brows when bathing.
- No Makeup or Skincare Products: Avoid applying makeup, moisturizer, or any other skincare products to the treated area during the healing period.
- No Saunas, Swimming, or Sweating: Avoid activities that cause excessive sweating or expose the brows to heat, steam, or water for the first 10 days.
- Dry Healing: For the first five days, keep your brows completely dry. After day five, apply the provided cream once a day for the next five days as instructed by your technician.
- Lymph Removal: Immediately after your service, use the supplied tissue to gently dab your brows every 15–20 minutes for the first three hours. This removes any lymph (please do these even if it’s not visible to the eye)
